"SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND PRESIDENT BUSH."

All red-white-and-blue. How patriotic. :sarcasm:

1. Now they list * last
All the previous ones I've seen listed * first...a sure sign of idolatry

3. I share your disgust.
I think the worst I ever saw was God bless George W. Bush, next to the pro Justice Alito sticker.

4. I live in a rural area of California, Bush country, in more ways than one
There have been two 'Support the Troops' signs up here since the war started. I have wondered what the signs mean, but have never asked anyone to explain. Last December, I went to a town hall meeting where a minister got up and blessed even the food served, but not the troops in Afghanistan or Iraq. The war was never mentioned. Weekend warriors and sunshine soldiers, I guess.

5. thats as old as this war, but what I find hilarious about it
What I really love, is that PRESIDENT BUSH is written in larger, bolder type than "our troops"

6. Atleast he's honest
A lot of them mean support our troops by supporting president bush's decisions.

7. my healthy 21 year old neighbor boy has one on his truck that reads
"I support our brave troops and out brave president" So every time his mother--also a chickenhawk asks me about my nephew that served a tour in Afghanistan and 2 in Iraq i always tell her--"There are at least 3.2 job openings a day in Baghdad, they could really use your sons support" i say that to her because the one time i asked her why able body Jr. wasn't serving she said to me "Oh he can do more at home".

13. He is an 'Ice Cream Patriot'
He would melt in the heat of having to stand up for his country using more than a slogan.

How does a bumper sticker support the troops?

9. Here's to the "Yellow Ribbon Republicans"
Willing to sacrifice 30 square inches of precious bumper space for their country...bumper space which might have otherwise been used for "My kid won Greatest Human Alive at Mrs. Snobass's School for The Superior."

We salute you, Yellow Ribbon Republicans!

I'm going to plagarize that one. Did you see it somewhere or make it up?

Made it up? You obviously have superior genetic material.

17. I got it from Mom's side of the family
Made it up after seeing a 'Support President Bush and Our Troops' bumper sticker at work. The jerk parks in the same spot every day, not quite straight in the lines.

(I've never met him, I call him a jerk because of his inability to park, not because of his bumper sticker)

20. Thx for welcome
Been lurking for a few years, don't post much. I just had to harass HawkerHurricane, (my son) but as you can see, he got me back.

"Doubting Thomas" is in a book alright. ;-)

I was given that(appropriate)nickname in a parochial high school a few years back.

a big sign with that saying on it in the back window of the car. Makes me gag every time I see it.
