In other emails, Chiara has repeatedly asked for help/aid in finding a new position.

I'm attempting to collect all the emails from and to Margaret Chiara in the document dump.

1. You know what? This lady could very well turn on the GOP.
They have screwn her badly. I wonder if she knows where some of the bodies are buried?

9. How utterly shitty of them.
Bad enough to fire this woman apparently for no better cause than PARTISAN POLITICS. I reiterate, and emphasize, PARTISAN POLITICS.

Worse, however, to then lie about it and lie about it in such a way as to make her search for alternate employment more difficult. Whether she financially needs the work or not isn't really a consideration (even though all of us here on DU know that it is); they had no right to lie about it. Shits, all of them, stinking rotten shits.

But worst of all is to then put themselves in a position where TO COVER THEIR OWN SHITTY LITTLE ASSES they dump all this private, personal anguish into the public sphere. Her personal life, at least as far as her struggle to find a job and the complications created by public knowledge of her AGE, ferkrissakes, is just so much junk news, a few pages out of 3000 scraps of paper tossed like celebratory confetti to a drunken crowd.

They claim "executive privilege" to keep important and essential government documents from seeing the light of day in an open Congressional hearing. They ignore the long history of Congress as the investigative and oversight body of the government, to which the Executive branch is fully accountable -- FULLY, my DU and lurker friends, FULLY. It doesn't go the other way 'round: Congress is not accountable to the Executive branch, but the office of the President, the Vice-President, the various departments and agencies ALL ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO CONGRESS.

They claim this "executive privilege" and yet think nothing, absofuckinglutely nothing, of exposing an innocent individual's private and personal difficulties.

Shits. They're just shits. Dirty, smelly, nasty little piles of excrement.

Tansy Gold, who just came in from cleaning up the dog poop in her yard and KNOWS SHIT.

16. Here's McNulty tand Elston throwing the idea around
Here is my transcription of the pdf - so forgive any errors:

From: Elston, Michael (ODAG)
Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 5:28 PM
To: Goodling, Monica
Subject: Fw: Solution

This idea may help us avoid linking this to the others. What do you think?

- - - -Original Message - - -
From: McNulty, Paul J
To: Elston, Michael (ODAG)
Sent: Fri Feb 09 17:25:15 2007

Could we make this happen? Hire her into the EOUSA slot and then send her down to the NAC?

-------------------------------------------
From: Chiara, Margaret M. (USAMIW)
Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 1:55 PM
To: McNulty, Paul J
Subject: Solution

Paul: You may recall from earlier communication with me that I have owned a home in South Carolina for several years.
The announcement (below) is for a detail at the NAC for which I am completely qualified and which I would enjoy doing. Obviously, I am not currently eligible for a detail position. Will you please intervene to make the position available for me? It would provide a timely and satisfactory solution to my current job search. Thank you.

Margaret

5. Sounds like Margaret's ready to play some hardball
This is bad on so many levels..

Shame on the Bushies for trying to taint the futures of people whom THEY appointed.

I have no love lost on republicans, but "firing" her and then claiming it was performance related is a low blow...even for them.. this woman should not have to forfeit her future employment chances because George got his panties in a wad over her doing what was legal, fair and correct. There probably are still a few republicans who are not uber-partisans like HE and his crowd are.

When you hang out with dogs you catch fleas. You are one more victim of good old Rethug slash and burn politics. They do not give a flying fugg if you remain unemployed to the grave. Your best bet is to write a book and tell all. Remember you're never too old to learn.

21. I find myself cringing on her behalf, at her begging and pleading.
And her obsequiousness! Ugh. I wouldn't hire her just for the grotesque sucking sounds she is making as she tries, tries, tries, tries and tries again to make them "like" her ie. "please throw me to the wolves gently rather than screaming from a 10th floor balcony" - which is what they have effectively done to her.

No wonder she is finding it hard to get a job. Ick.

that it appears that she had every intention of keeping her mouth shut if they gave her another position. Of course she was smart to follow up in e-mails because it sounds like they were trying to avoid doing that.

23. This is literally making me sick reading these.
"Need some advice on how to stop the inquiries"???

How about ya dumb fuck, inquiring into what the fuck is going on with the shitcanning of these attorneys and growing some balls to discover why they are being blacklisted with "poor performance reviews" which effectively annihilates their careers? (and especially when you know they aren't poor performers ya dumbass!)

24. When I first read them I thought.....what a grovel bot
She gets slapped across the face and begging her attacker for more

But today an article came out about her and she seems to be getting angry...anger caused by bitterness

and who knows? She might be willing to have a little talk with Congress...

25. She's like an abused woman, I can't believe it's taken her this long to get to the "anger" phase.
For a supposedly smart woman, I sure as shit hopes she figures that she is being dumped spectacularly, publicly, and in the most humiliating way tout suite, and turns rabid even faster.

Frankly, the grovelling is un-fucking-believable (and just so pathetic it's painful).

27. No, you have to read ALL the emails. They have agreed to get her a job to
"solve the problem". And that is what she wants. She made it very clear that she would NOT be unemployed and that seh expects them ot take care of her, and they have already agreed to. Read all of the emaisl about her. She was already bought. She is not angry. She is like a child whining for money.

29. Okies
that makes more sense actually...considering her constant request for another job

I've read the "Solution" emails and where they ask if they could do that for her (put her in another position)

but I haven't gotten to the part where they actually agree to get her another position. Some vague words of "I'll look into it", yes...but not where they actually agree to

Which document is that in...where they agree to get her another job?
