Think about it. And while you're at it, add in the cost of bush's little adventure in Iraq.

Imagine the jump start to the economy if every family of four in the country was handed $13,300 right about now.

2. Gee if they would have just gave us the money
we would have spread the wealth around and stimulated the economy, problem solved. What am I thinking we need to give them the money than they will build factories to make stuff. The only problem is the factory is in China and we don't have any money to buy anything.

it might cause a bump in consumer spending. But it wouldn't go much good without a financial sector.
