Harrowing Gunfight Ongoing at the Taj
(NECN/ABC) - It has been over 45 hours since gunmen stormed the Taj Mahal hotel in Mubai, India. And still, the media was kept at bay, as it was the scene of an ongoing gunfight between the Indian commandos and the terrorists inside.

Gunmen appeared to be holed up in multiple areas. At one point, flames engulfed an entire corner suite. Commandos had entered the Taj hotel earlier in the day and described a harrowing fight, room to room, against determined and well-trained terrorists.

As the fight continues on Friday, the city still does not feel safe. The scars that this attack will leave will take a long time to heal.
