I am curious, but when a DUer posts a video, wouldn't it be nice if people acknowledged viewing it?

It usually takes a little more effort to post those than just a general opinion, so it would be good for the poster to know that he/she was able to share a pertinent "visual thought" with other DUers. Whenever I watch a video posted on DU I post a comment if I think the video was worthwhile. Of course, if I find it was not very good, I don't say a word!

I've posted some really good ones and really bad ones and have gotten about the same amount of comments so it's not personal - just so you know.

But like posts, people are free to not comment no matter how much effort or thought is put into it. It's a shame but its the way it has been.

as to what the video is about. The title doesn't leave much to go on sometimes.

Probably because there is an oversupply of comment everywhere else on DU!
