... who will be sacrificed to his pride. His arrogance knows no limits, and he will continue this war — nay, escalate it — no matter how unpopular it becomes.

It may not be on the Dick Cheney-approved list of fourth anniversary war observations, but it is nonetheless true.

So very true and vastly sad ...

3. But he's untroubled because he believes he's doing God's work.
If * ever gets to see God, I bet She gives him hell for abusing Her name.

4. Rep Murtha: "After four years of incompetence and mismanagement, this Administration must come ...
... to the realization that Iraq's civil war can only be solved by the Iraqi people and that stability in Iraq can only be accomplished when U.S. and coalition forces end the occupation and redeploy.

End the illegal occupation.

Tell Georgie that no one wins a crime and now it's time for him to do time ...

Peace.

6. Jon Soltz: "It's no longer incompetence from the President - it's misfeasance in office. ...
... Members of Congress are flat out wrong to rubber stamp that."

<clip>

Four years, tens of thousands of my fellow troops dead and wounded, a decimated military, increasing violence, a deteriorating political situation, and Osama bin Laden smiling and eating lamb chops somewhere in Pakistan - that is the legacy of this misguided war in Iraq.

Almost four years ago, I went to Iraq believing that this was a war of necessity.

Words from one of the many honorable Americans who served and now know they were deceived and placed in harm's way by a liar and his neoconster minions and buddy war barons.
