A good use for the thousands of posts you've written on DU.
And you thought that spending time on DU was a waste of time. For those who are seeking employment in the Obama Admnistration, I'm sure you've heard that Obama wants to know EVERYTHING about you. If it's personal they want to know ahead of time. Which, now that we know how the right-wing uses swiftboat tactics, is a prudent procedure. Anyway, I just figured, should there ever be posted a position in my local area, I'd just turn in my screen name. I might lose the job, but, they can't say they weren't forewarned.

Here's the info on the requirements:

If you want one of the top jobs in the Obama White House, you're going to have to answer a lot of tough questions first. Like, what's in your diary? Seriously.

One of the 63 questions being sent to job hopefuls asks: "If you keep or have ever kept a diary that contains anything that could suggest a conflict of interest or be a possible source of embarrassment to you, your family, or the President-Elect if it were made public, please describe."

Some are calling the Obama questionnaire the most thorough White House vetting process ever, designed to head off the controversies that have tripped up past presidents. Others just see it as invasive. And a question about gun ownership has triggered more fears from those who think Obama doesn't believe in the 2nd Amendment (even though he swears he does).

2. Well, they'll know I'm opinionated.
But at my age, maybe it will just pass for grumpiness?

4. I didn't read the whole thing.
But, I imagine that if you own a gun, they might want to be sure it's legally owned.

5. I haven't read it either, only excerpts and summations.
I should probably investigate further to see whether the question is: 'IF you own a gun' or 'If you own guns, are they legitimate?'
