Valerie Plame was extremely direct, forth coming and precise, I thought. Might you have been expecting a "George Galloway" style delivery perhaps?

I'll just add that I was so astonished by Friday's testimony that I had to "explain away" my day to some close friends. I told them that when it re-aired that I would let them know. So, that's what I did when it came on C-Span1 this afternoon. They watched and said something that I had kind of 'felt'.....THEY knowing almost nothing about VP (except that she was the 'outed agent' :eyes:)

She was honest, but she wasn't 'powerful', didn't really seem like she could be behind a whole nuclear weapon tracking program, etc??

I don't want to get into any sort of 'wars' with anyone (g_d knows we have enough trouble in our own lives as it is! :eyes:) - just passing on what a few of us think/perceive.

And it's not to say that there isn't a whole lot "there" that happenened on Friday.....because there very much IS. Let's just focus on the good, solid stuff.

...covert agent? Plame did say her career came to an immediate and abrupt stop the day Novak exposed her in the public media and that was soon after her husband went public that Bush lied in the SOTUS. Maybe the day before all that happened in Plames life she was in fact a different person and could demonstrate the character traits of a real covert spy as one might expect. Today though, that would be a shadow, a ghost of what had been. That's what it is to be human.

What, you expected a little drama or something? She gave her testimony in a professional manner. I think she did great considering the pressure of being at her first congressional hearing as its star witness.
