Thank you, George Stephanopoulos
for running the names of the fallen - "released by the Pentagon" at the end of your This Week Sunday shows.

As I read the names, cities and ages of the names I feel even more the waste - yes, waste - of losing so many young lives.

1. about the only redeeming thing his show has.
he fails to ask hard questions of White House whores. he invites many more GOPers than Dems. And frankly, I refuse to watch his show anymore.

2. You'll be pleased to know they're changing their ways, according to Media Matters:
Despite previous network claims that a conservative advantage existed on the Sunday shows simply because Republicans controlled Congress and the White House, only one show, ABC's This Week, has been roughly balanced between both sides overall since the congressional majority switched hands in the 2006 midterm elections.

6. I have no patience with either Russert or Scheiffer (sometimes)
so when CBS Sunday is over I switch to the last half hour of his for the give and take of George Will and Donna Brazille and Claire Shipman. This is more interesting then listening to what the invited guests have to say and who rarely are being challenged.

Plus, I like his "funnies" clips from Jon Stewart, Bill Maher and other late night shows. And the end, in Memorium, provides a sober thought for the rest of the day.

him....however, he is now just another shill for Bushco. Bush's crimes make Clinton's dalliances totally irrelevant.

4. I agree. It is a great tribute, and a reminder of what we are losing every
day this immoral war proceeds (IMHO).

5. I make a point of watching that segment every week
and it never fails to reduce me to tears. It hones my edge and reminds me of just how much I hate Bush and his psychosis. He is a bastard to the end.
