Now we need to focus on holding the congress

If we are going to get any work done we need to hold the congress in 2010. If the repubs manage to get either house they will do nothing but stall and block any reform we try to pass.

We need to be on top of fighting ANY attacks because I firmly believe the next focus of the repubs is to blame the bad economy on Obama. I know what you are thinking - the economy turned to shit long before Obama got in to office so how could anyone be dumb enough to believe that?

Well remember that sadly most people in this country have a memory that lasts as long as a week. They are also too ignorant to realize bush screwed things up so badly it will take well over two years to get the economy back together.

Also many people are selfish. Once things start turning around by 2010 the repubs will pull out the greed card, and many people will bite unless we remind them things will go right back to hell with the repubs in power.
