Something awesome happened tonite

I was working at a Metallica concert in Denver - had to miss the TV pundits and all of the polls coming in. However, just before Metallica took the stage, the TV screens in the Pepsi Center showed that Obama had won and a MASSIVE roar went up from the crowd in appreciation of his win.

It was the coolest thing ever - an older gent was attending, wearing his Obama DNC t-shirt and he turned to me at the bar, with tears in his eyes and said, "It did happen - I can't believe he won the whole thing.".

I had tears in my eyes as I closed up the bar, but did my own happy dance and thanked the spirits above for this glorious event.

Then Metallica took the stage and rocked like never before....I think they're Obama fans.
