Remember Gonzales NOT under oath when testifying.
I think it was about surveillance in th Senate when the republicans were in control. I just remember thinking that is a weired breach of protocol. I'm sure its been covered, but I haven't seen the thread

1. Well, it doesn't matter since there is also a law that prohibits any government official
from lying to the US Congress. Once an official takes on the job they are subject to prosecution if they lie. That means the Straussian-model of governances which requires that government lie to the masses will be in conflict with US law until that law is nullified.
