1. Lots of people from various parts of the country pronounce Washington as if it had an "r" in it

2. I know I know....
I'm a native of Washington, and it drives me crazy when people put an R in there. and also perplexes me. Do they say Linkern instead of Lincoln? Jerfasreen instead of Jefferson?

(My dad, a native of Missouri, but lived in Washington for 40 years still says Worshington).

6. That drives me NUTS, and Sarahbellum was just commenting on that last weekend.
The other thing that makes me crazy is the way Tweety pronounces "America." He drops the first A in many cases, and the E becomes a U = 'Murka. He did the same with a guest named Perry the other night: kept calling him "Purry."
WTF is up with THAT shit??
