What are the terms for Speaker of the House and Majority Leader?
Pelosi and Reed will still be in their positions after this election?
How does Congress go about changing those officers, other than a change in the majority party?

3. They Are Elected By The Party Caucus, Ma'am
The Speaker goes to a vote in the whole House, but it is decided in advance within the Party caucus.

Selection is made at the start of each Congress.

4. They serve until the next Congress is seated.
So in early January all of these positions are up for re-election. To answer your question: two years.

6. It's an internal decision
Secret ballot by all the dems for their leaders, being in the majority, Speaker etc. and minority chooses their leaders. Unless there is a revolt by the House dems Pelosi will be selected again.
Every two years they reorganize but they usually go with their leaders. no term limits per se.

7. Thanks all. There were so many references to Obama working with Reed and Pelosi that
I got to wondering if they were still going to hold their positions when the new Congress started.

9. I predict Sen Clinton will be Majority Leader
don't have a clue who will be speaker but Pelosi might not be it. So republican commercials are not exactly being fair but who would be surprised.
