Too many keep focusing on the 60 number, as if it's a magic number somehow. But it's not! We don't need 60 from our side, we just need 60 overall! To give you even more reason to celebrate, I've searched the web and found some major bills the repubs filibustered so far this congress. So many of these cloture motions required 8 or less more votes on our side to pass. And guess what? WE'RE ALREADY GOING TO GET 7-8 SENATE PICKUPS!!!
So don't focus so much on the 60. As it relates to the Senate, WE'VE ALREADY WON!
