Interesting how he has now totally reformed his image to that of expert.
A Kerry Landslide? Why the next election won't be close.

1. He made that statement in May of 2004
It was dumb to make it at that time....but let's face it, I think everyone felt that way.

2. The fact that everyone felt that way then is kind of scary now.
Just saying.

The electoral map is much different this time around. Many more opportunities as we work this last week than there were then.

4. But that's the difference between May and November

Back in May of this year, Obama's numbers in a GE against McCain looked questionable at best.

It's been pointed out if you look at the polls the week leading up to the election of 2004, Kerry was trailing nationally by at least a couple points in every major poll and not making much progress in the battleground states. The hope was that all the undecideds would break for him, and well, that didn't happen.

McCain wishes he had those numbers JK had going down to the wire.

8. Bill Clinton's summer2004 book tour spent supporting and defending Bush on his Iraq war
and terrorism decisions, clearly undermining Kerry's attacks on those decisions.

But....even with that betrayal....Kerry won....RNC and GOP officials in key states stole that election....and McAuliffe's DNC sat on their hands for the four years after 2000s theft and LET THEM DO IT!
