14. i hate to say
that he doesn't bring it up because he has made promises he knows he won't keep. i think once he's in office the anti-war movement has got to get really busy, come together and campaign energetically for the end of the war. insist on war news with pictures every night. who ever heard of a war waged by a country that is totally disconnected from what is going on in their name? if it was a "right" war the country would get behind it, but it is a "wrong" war and the bushies have successfully kept it from the eyes and ears of the people for far too long.

i do think that obama will bring it to an end if he understands that the PEOPLE want it to end.

25. We are winning the election without opening this wound
The Reich wing think they own the high ground on the war. It is another sign of brilliance from Obama to not give them the opportunity to talk about it.

8. Thanks for posting, especially all of their names. I was going to post the name and photo
of Sgt. Borjas of San Diego, if I didn't see it. He was a Reservist and police officer here killed by an Afghan police officer during an ambush while on patrol. We're all still reeling from the news. His sister says they spoke 3 days before his death and he was excited about coming home to his little girl.
As an aside, always heavily Republican San Diego County will most likely go blue this election. I know Obama wins California anyway but it's almost unbearable waiting for him to start troop withdrawal from Iraq. Again, thank you for posting.
