Maybe the RNC *LIED* to Sarah Palin. . .
In light of her explanation of the "job of Vice President"
"in charge of the United States Senate" and "can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes."

I think maybe they told her that, and held Cheney up as an example, to get her to run. That would feed right into her belief that Alaska is poised to become a refuge for God's Chosen.

1. she certainly seems persistent in that perception.
and they could have corrected her, since she has done it at least 4 times now.

2. You make a good point.
I'm not saying she is stupid but with an eye on the "prize" they could tell her anything.

3. You may be right. Last night on Countdown, Keith showed clips
of her from the 'debate', when she was saying the role of the VP is 'flexible'.

4. She should have learned what the VP does in grade school...
...she shouldn't have to be briefed by anyone.

5. I'm glad to see that this is being discussed media-wide.
What you say on a "down-market" media outlet does not stay in a "down-market" media outlet..
