Joe the Plumber: Welfare Queen
What. A. Tool.

HANNITY: What do you — when you hear — first of all, it made me mad for you because the crowd's laughing, they think this is a big joke.

You know, here, you're swinging a wrench 12, 14 hours a day. And by the way, I had a lot of years in construction.

WURZELBACHER: Yes.

HANNITY: Ask Alec Baldwin. He made fun of me. But you know, you're swinging a wrench. You're installing toilets and showers and plumbing and heating and making people's lives better. You service some people, earning every dollar you get. :wow:

WURZELBACHER: Yes....
HANNITY: And if you say the word welfare, some of — said well, that's actually racist. Actually that came out this weekend.

Here's my question to you. Why is — in your words, because I thought you articulated this better than many politicians. Why do you view this as socialism because that's the word you used?

WURZELBACHER: Well, just because, you know, when you work hard, I mean, all your life, you've — you've said, you know, work hard, you'll make something of yourself. You know? I grew up poor. You know I actually have been on welfare, you know, my parents, you know, a couple different times, and we'd, you know, worked harder and got off of it and then, you know, actually did fairly well.

I mean fairly well, you know, I'm not talking $100,000 a year fairly well, I'm just talking fairly well for us. You know? So when someone tells me that if you work hard that we're going to take more away from you, what's the purpose of working hard? :eyes:

If it's someone of color, a Democrat etc.. it's because they're immoral and lazy.

I try hard not to say exactly that phrasing

"you folks" is another dead give away.

This is pretty funny that this asshole was on welfare a COUPLE of times and then managed to do better, but under his party's platform he would have starved to death. Asshat.

they could get back on their feet? That's the point of welfare, Joe! And some one has to fund it...unless you think no one else deserves a safety net.

What a numbskull!

13. Oh man it's way better than even that: Joe the Keating Family Operative...
'Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years.'

Campaign 2008: Get the latest news, video, and polls!

KEX-AM Portland interviews 'Joe the Plumber' about life after the debate

"Joe the Plumber" now has enough cash to get that license he's been working for, thanks to Clear Channel radio station 1190 KEX-AM in Portland, Oregon.

Radio hosts Mark Mason and Dave Anderson began a campaign to raise the money for the Ohio struggling plumber after it was revealed "Joe" wasn't actually licensed.

Joe Wurzelbacher was thrust into the national spotlight last week, when his name was mentioned 26 times during the final presidential debate. Soon after the debate it was revealed Wurzelbacher never actually had a plumber's license, and owed $1,200 in back taxes.

19. looks like he's a bit short in the payoff department
plus he's gonna have to take a test, get workmans comp/liability insurance/commercial vehicle insurance (someone should follow him around and see if he uses his personal truck for business, that's a no-no), compete against his former boss (bet he tries to steal customers), and if he hires anyone to work for him, pay their part of social security.

The guy is gonna go no where, he's a schmuck and I don't mean to offend schmucks anywhere.

Peace

16. Geesh, he sure is making the rounds.
Did you know he admitted to not understanding that the tax increase was for a business that nets $250 grand? He admitted it in an interview with an Oregon radio station that raised $1800 to pay off his taxes and get his plumbing license. On Faux and friends he said he wasn't going to take any money that had been offered but turned around and accepted donated money anyway.

The more I learn about this guy, the more I realize he really is just a MORAN! I think he is a perfect example of the Republican base. He doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground.
