Last scene of the film.
W. in the recurring stadium dream scene.
Upon the scoreboard near the last pan,
"322"

Any one else catch it?
NICE touch Oliver.

18. Oh my!
George H. W. Bush was Magog, a name reserved for a member considered to have the most sexual experience. George W. Bush, unable to decide, was temporarily called Temporary, and the name was never changed.<10>

I think temporary was a good name for whistle ass.

11. Excellent! Thanks for that!
Yes indeed-
I can't wait to get a copy of the film so that I can
stop the picture and examine ALL the background
imagery more closely.
Oliver does it again!

9. According to my friend the Google
"According to the Skull and Bones Society lore in 322 B.C., a Greek orator died. When he died, the goddess Eulogia, the goddess, whom Skull and Bones called the goddess of eloquence, arose to the heavens and didn't happen to come back down until 1832, when she happened to take up residence in the tomb of Skull and Bones. 13. Clever
However, I would entertain the notion that, all possible conspiracies aside, it is a quiet tribute to Goethe, author of the famous work Faust, among many other literary accomplishments. Goethe died on 3-22-1832.

14. It all makes sense now.
Oliver Stone was making the statement that our government is being run like a fraternity, right?

15. Haven't checked back on this for a while- Where did all the snarky assholes come from?
Edited on Tue Oct-21-08 05:13 PM by BeHereNow
What's with all the "snark" people?

Has DU suddenly been over run by assholes?
Near an election? Imagine that.

I asked a simple question.
That is all.

16. I was looking for S & B references.
It's why I said this movie needs to be reexamined. There were a lot of little clues that I saw.

17. I didn't notice any until that end scene, and it was pretty hard to miss there!
Like I said up thread- I am looking forward to getting a copy
so I can pause it and examine backgrounds more closely...
I'm sure there is plenty to see the second time around.

Glad you checked in on this thread.
Nice to know there a few DU members left who
know the history and Oliver's explorations into
the S&K connections.

To the others who have no shame in flaunting their arrogance and ignorance-
I say, "meh..."
