5. Schadenfreude...It's Not Just For Breakfast...

This race was tightening before Bachmann shot her trap...I think it was around 5 points. No doubt about it, this babe just did her re-election chances a major world of hurt, if not her career. This isn't something easily walked back from, and if you're a Normie Coleman or Commander Huff'nPuff, do you support her?

Spewing this bilge on a Friday night was her only saving grace...but a limited one. I suspect we'll hear about her outburst as the video has gone viral and the cables will pick up on this. Here's hoping she shows up on more shows and tries to defend herself...she'll just dig her hole deeper and deeper.

for Netroots - raising over $650,000 from Friday afternoon after 5.00pm was nothing short of mind blowing. I haven't enjoyed anything the way I watched the money pouring in. It was almost $50,000 from Actblue at the end of Rachel's program. Liberals rock!!

15. The Hypocrisy Is Choking Now...

We've long passed beyond hip waders...the room is full and really stinking things up.

A new meme I've heard over the weekend is how Obama is spending more money on hate ads than "any other candidate". Of course this is manufactured bullshit because it plays on the fact we're outspending Gramps and that Obama's had a policy of running a minimum 50-50 mix...one positive spot for any negative one. By that measure, then Obama has also spent the most money on positive ads than any other candidate...which he has...and this has helped him in swing states.

My son watches the Price Is Right...several weeks ago he was complaining that he was seeing a lot of Gramps ads and none from Obama. Last week he said he was seeing Obama ads. I told him to keep an eye out if and when the Gramps ads vanish. My fun in these closing days is to follow the money...see which states Gramps begins to pull out of and how the RNC splits the money baby between keeping Camp Gramps going vs. saving the asses of some of their House & Senate seats.

Backmann is on the House Finance Committee. That in itself is an outrage! And that's on top of her attudes being reflected in votes there, plus her big mouth on national TV because of her position.
