:wtf:

NOW??? Right now, while we're still in this mess??? Not years from now, or even months from now, but right NOW, at THIS moment they have the nerve to say such things??? After 30 years of the famous Repub deregulation, which they all preached night and day for 3 decades, which just hit the wall in a global meltdown of biblical proportions???

They're the only real Americans, huh? They're the only ones who love this country? Yeah, they love it so much, they f***ed it up beyond our lifetimes!!! They need to STFU on that subject and demonstrate JUST A LITTLE appropriate humility and remorse, right about now.

I don't know how Michelle Bachman, and Palin, and any other Repubs saying such things don't get bitch slapped on the spot!!!

I know when I see it, I want to come through the tv screen and do it myself!
:argh:

What a freakin' nerve!

3. Well, sure. It's the Republican way
Like John McCain taking offense at John Lewis's absolutely appropriate scolding of him for his hateful campaign tactics, using Sarah Palin as his instrument of hate, and McCain indignantly demanding that Obama censure Lewis and then apologize to McCain.

These people dwell in an alternate universe where they are never wrong, a defeat is a win, black is white, up is down, and whatever they say the truth is, well, then, that's the truth.

I have handprints on my TV screens, Waiting. I know exactly what you mean...........................

4. They *love* the US so much they sacrificed 4,000+ beautiful American lives
in wars of greed and ego.

There are too many people who have bought in to the idea that the US is like Jesus: perfect, unassailable. It's frustrating, aggravating, frightening.

5. Not just the economy
They wrecked the United States. They wrecked the world. They declared open season on all that was good, right and compassionate, and proceeded to gut it, skin it and mount it on their walls in their 'greed is good' world.

They have proven, being a shadow of a doubt, that THEY are the anti-Americans.

The Michelle Bachmanns of this country will be marginalized, humiliated, and shown to be the threatening fools that they are.

6. They're "Americans" the same way they're "Christians".
Thomas Jefferson and Jesus Christ wouldn't recognize them.

authoritarian power structure. The followers go along with the group think out of fear and ego. "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists" their leaders shout.

No accountability and out of their selfishness and cognitive dissonance they must project there anger onto others as the villains. Humility is not part of their nature, ego will not not let them go there.

8. It's a tactic, and they use it ALL THE TIME.
There's no value in saying something a little bit outrageous. So they go out of their way to say things that are un-be-freaking-lievably outrageous.

Statements so unreal, so mind-boggling that they can change the whole direction of the conversation. Over and over again, every day, disrupting any sense of reality and equilibrium.

Political shock and awe, some call it. I call it political psychopathy, the mind-fuck techniques of a Charles Manson scaled-up and inflicted on an entire nation.

Makes Goebbels look like a rank amateur.

These are sick, sick people running the show at the GOP.
