Seriously, there is stuff in there that only DUers will get. That other poster doesn't get satire. The movie was really good, I wouldn't say great, but Stone opens the books and really let's Bush have it with both barrels. I think ultimately, W. is an anti-war movie, W. standing for "war" hence the white "W" with the red "period". Seriously, I was watching and thinking, damn I feel like I've just endured an 8 year sucker punch. Go out and see it and judge for yourself. There are a ton of nods and winks that only politically savvy people, like those on DU will get. Stone let's people know that Bush has zero redeeming qualities and that his is legacy, well that and a disasterous war for oil.

1. It's an exhaustive documentary, right?
If it doesn't cover that time he did that one thing with that whatsit, Oliver Stone is a hack.

3. It's satire. It's meant to be cartoonish almost.

2. Some people are satire-impaired and that's a fact.
I saw it here myself when that New Yorker cover with Obama was released.

6. That alone is reason enough to go out and see it.
