The price per gallon is a bit meaningless since we all drive different amounts.

Me: $30, on average
More if I go out of town
Less if the neighbor who borrows our car a lot fills up the tank.

ps: In case you're curious I live in North Carolina.

1. I pay about $20 in the summer/fall, but not for gas
The gas company charges about $15 just to run my pilot light. It's their way of making the little guy subsidize the big guys.

Now for gasoline - that depends on if I rent a car or not, which I have not since March.

2. $4,658,423.12

4. To fill my car, it was about
$240 per month, at the peak of gas prices.

I've been driving a lot less, and really trying to "hypermile" it.

I'm now paying about $160.

8. Do you go anywhere?
I don't know how you can get by with 8 gallons a month.

Personally, I drive my personal car (not the 'family vehicle) to my bus stop park and ride and 2 soccer practices a week and have to fill up every 3 weeks -so about 17 gallons/ month.

9. I go to work every week day, I go out when I feel like it
And whenever the spirit moves me I enjoy this lovely lake which is a 20 minute bike ride from my front door.

10. I use about 6 gallons of gas/month with the motorcycle and another 3-4 with the truck
So about 10 gallons/month. Less if the weather is good and I can ride; more if I have to use the truck.

11. we are pretty lucky. my husband has a company van and a gas card,
so he doesn't have to pay for gas. and I am a SAHM who only puts about $20 or $40 in my van every week. and i can pare that down if i have to. i have siblings that spend A LOT for their gas. over $800/mo! it's crazy. but ya gotta work.

13. About $100/mo. It would be less if I wasn't a maniac.
I ride my motorcycle at high speeds and that cuts my mileage down into the 30's.

14. I'm at about $160-$200 a month depending on gas prices here in MI
My car gets awesome gas mileage, but I have to do a lot of driving (I work 20 miles away from my house) and there's virtually no public transportation around here. That's just my car - my husband pays closer to $300 a month because his gas mileage isn't as good.
