Justin Timberlake appears at Las Vegas rally for OBAMA

Timberlake says he is just a guy who feels strongly about the upcoming election, as do so many others.

"I'm not here as some dude who writes goofy songs," the superstar pop singer said today from the stage of the amphitheater at the Clark County Government Center.

"Me and Jess, we're here as Americans. We're here as humans because this is something we had to do. We've never publicly endorsed before. But we've never been so inspired by one person."

Timberlake and his girlfriend, actress Jessica Biel, stopped by the free public rally to urge support for Democrat Barack Obama, especially among the young voters that make up Timberlake's fan base but historically do not register or vote as much as other age groups.
