1. He failed to reinforce a redneck granny's prejudice
that Obama is an Ay-rab and a terryist. He reassured her that Obama was a good family man but that they disagreed on how the country should be run.

That's a little nuanced for the base the GOP has left, I'm afraid.

It cost him the race with people who love to hate.

6. And they are truly demented
They're so demented that they don't realize that the opinions they post on the Minneapolis papers' website are the worst possible advertisement for their candidate.

2. let me count the ways...
Hm, I think it must be referring to the way he had to walk back his attacks on Obama's character, because the rabble was being incited toward violence.

3. McCain was booed at his own supporters at a rally when he defended Obama.

Also, the Troopergate report was released showing that Palin did, indeed, break ethics laws in trying to get Wooten fired.

4. He hasn't lost anything yet. We're winning. That's not at ALL the same thing.

5. A couple of things happened - he said positive things about Obama
when one of his supporters called him 'an Arab" and another said they would be scared if he was Pres. McCain called him a 'decent family man", which is about as nice as he can get, I guess.

Also, Troopergate report found Palin abused her power, violated ethics. But no criminal charges will be filed, unfortunately.
