make a puzzled face and then he smiled. It caused a stir in the crowd, but they mostly laughed. That is what I see in this clip. Am I way off base here? He should have used that moment to denounce that kind of language once and for all. He didn't.

That is not even the video where a supporter supposedly said "kill him", that's the one where someone yelled "terrorist". The "kill him" remark was supposedly heard at a Palin rally in Clearwater, FL. I have yet to see a video of that one. It was only mentioned in a Dana Milbank article in the Washington Post.

This is just getting silly. Unless there is some video where someone clearly is heard saying something, we all just need to calm down about it.

I mean, sure, I think their rhetoric is dangerous and whipping up a frenzy of Obama hatred, and that should be denounced. However, let's not get carried away until we have absolute clear evidence that someone is shouting true hate-speech.
