A whopping 14 points above 10,000, for whatever psychological effect that will have for overnight. Because tomorrow morning, the blood bath will continue as scheduled. Even playing with $700 billion in free money, the financial powers that be aren't going to be trusting each other anytime soon. Also, the part of the bill that restrict participants in the Money Game from overcompensating their CEOs isn't playing well with those great, patriotic captains of industry. I mean, sure, they're all for the United States and its standing in the world, but if it means putting their ability to buy a personal jet at risk, well, there's still a few dollars running around some poor pockets.
