Is it a republican thing? I don't get it...just like they are adept at dodging questions are they so adept at mispronouncing simple frigging words!

Maybe it's a republican prerequisite....who knows

13. Sorry to nit pick
but it's "e-rock" and "e-ran". I have been to both counties many times and have noticed that not only in Iran and Iraq but just about everywhere outside the USA and the UK the letter "i" is pronounced "e" and "e" is pronounced "er". I cringe whenever I hear anyone say "EYE-RACK" or "EYE-RAN". It's just wrong.

16. So basically the old English map makers were either
mispronouncing the names or misspelling the names? Not that either surprises me....
