Andy Kohut from the Pew Poll: It's a myth that the public is overwhelmingly against the bailout

On NPR now. Says the public is pretty evenly divided in Pew polling and in WaPo/ABC poll and others.

I'm against this legislation as it stands, but I suspected that it was bullshit that people were massively against it.

I'll bet if the polls asked if support should be based on whether billionares & millionares should be paying for this out of their own pockets, you would see different results.
