6. Yes.
"A hiker in rugged eastern California found items possibly belonging to missing adventurer Steve Fossett, authorities said Wednesday.

The items were found in the vicinity of the town of Mammoth Lakes, Inyo National Forest spokeswoman Nancy Upham said. The discoverer of the items came to the Mammoth Lakes Police Department office Tuesday to say the found an ID with Steve Fossett's name on it and some cash, Police Chief Randy Schienle told CNN."

10. Whether he's alive or dead ...
you'd think the plane would be around if he had crashed. It's all just a little too weird. Vanishing without a trace over water is one thing but vanishing over a desert?

12. Man, if they don't get a plane and a body soon, this thing
just might blow up beyond that dude who supposedly jumped off the plane with a mess of cash in the Pacific Northwest.

14. DB Cooper.
He didn't supposedly jump - he did jump; with twenty-one pounds of $20s strapped around his waist. He was never found.

15. I always wondered (tin-foil alert)
if he didn't get a bit too close to one of the military facilities out in the desert, and somebody got trigger happy. Not something the Gov. would want people to find out about.
