when T. Boone Pickens pops up with one of his innumerable commercials? How much money is he spending on promoting himself, anyway? And why?

He's on PBS on the News Hour and he's a stock writer.

Hard to take him seriously, though, because he looks like a character actor.

I'm glad the ads are on the air. I may not agree with some of the specifics of his plan, but he is reminding people that we cannot drill, drill, drill our way out of the problem.
