Is A List Of Who Voted For And Who Voted Against The Bailout Available?.....
how many of those that voted against the bailout are up for re-election in Nov?

My guess this is the protection that was wanted by both parties on this vote. Let those party members that aren't up for re-election in Nov - vote Yes; and those that are up for re-election in Nov - vote No.

The No reps can go back to their districts and say they didn't vote for this bailout because they listened to their constituency.

The Yes reps have a buffer year before they're up again and hopefully the American people with such short memories will not consider this at that time.

1. All reps are up for re-election every two years. It's the Senate that is staggered.

4. Frightening that this isn't universal knowledge on a political board.
