I AM REALLY CONFUSED
ABout this Bailout nightmare. What is the DU members consensus on this bill? I understand that the original bill was crap and some good Democrats have fix it somewhat. So, if DEMS have fixed the original proposition how come there are ppl still AGAINST this bill? Including the global financial investors and markets?

I thought DEMS revision to the original bill would find support, what happened? Why are republicans so much against their own (Bush)Bill? - What does the original plan has that they dislike so much to oppose it?

What will happen to our economy if nothing is done? Why are Dems going with Bush on this even though they have "fixed" certain provisions?

Please tell me. This infighting is really confusing me...

4. I'm not surprised at anybody who is really confused
as I'm hopelessly confused. I understand the basics of the problem, but how to fix it (without screwing the taxpayers yet again) isn't very clear to me.

Looking to others as experts isn't working very well. Problem is we certainly don't trust the Rethuglicons but we also don't trust the Dems at this point. So the people we look to for guidance are not very reassuring. Right, Bush pushes the bill, and DEMS push it??? That does NOT compute....

I haven't read any arguments on DU that are persuading me that we should be FOR a bailout.

OK so first I'm going to look at the Tarot cards, followed by the I Ching coins. And then I'll consult that tingling feeling in my left foot (it gives "yes" and "no" answers).

I'll get back to ya.

5. I say let this be put to a vote by the people
To hell with the two parties and their selling out the people for their own political gain.
