3. Obama was solid as a rock. Composed, relaxed, and answered every lie with FACTS
Obama mopped the floor with that tired old man.

5. McCain was grumpy and condescending
He wandered all over the place, lied ....

Obama had his facts straight, called McCain on his lies ...

So naturally the corporate media would think McCain won.

6. It depends on who you ask. DU gives Obama a huge victory...the American electorate
will see it as a wash...nobody's mind was changed as a result of this "debate."

13. 4 BIG ISSUES
1) McCain hogged and bullied speaking over Obama
2) Moderator should have been more forceful in that I heard him try to give Obama the time to respond but McCain kept going on.
3) Obama needs to be more direct and attack John on his record. Even on torture and POW voting, etc....He is in the fight for our lives.
4) Obama needs a catch phrase to drill into the minds of the public. McCAin keeps saying "He doesn't understand" and Obama needs to say "he will be following the path that Bush has set America out on which is the WRONG path" or something like that. Go back to "John doesn't get it" or something.

14. MSNBC is saying it was pretty much tied.
Obama being tied with McCain on foreign policy and national security is a wonderful thing. Obama was steady, reasonable, and knew his stuff. The next two debates for him will be even better.

17. McCain didn't win the debate--Obama forfeited it
If Obama thinks McCain is "absolutely right" about so much, then why the FUCK is he even running against the old bastard??

All he showed the American people tonight was that he kissed McCain's ass again and again. That's not bipartisanship, that's insanity. When you keep introducing every statement with "I agree with him, but..." or "He's absolutely right, but...", people stop listening to what you say after the "but".

I'm a staunch Obama supporter, but if I were his debate coach, I'd be bitchslapping him senseless right now. You notice how McCain never said he agreed with Obama? That's because THAT'S WHAT YOU DO TO SHOW THAT YOU'RE DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER CANDIDATE!!

Even when it's justified.

said as much and in fact she said the RNC is cutting the new commercials with Obama "agreeing" with John McCain as we speak.

Sounds like Obama, according to your report and Nora O'Donnell's, gave more ammo to the liars on the right to use against him.

When are the Democrats going to learn how not to make commercials for their opponent?

22. OMG, that's an angle I completely forgot
This is as bad as when Hillary Clinton's quotes about McCain having more experience, blah-blah-blah, was used in a McCain ad.

Like you say...when are the Dems going to learn not to make it so freakin' easy for these bastards?
