Where's Sarah? Why isn't she campaigning for McCain?

the purpose of having a VP is to have someone ready to take over if a President dies or becomes incapacitate.

Palin has stated on several occasions that she is "READY" to be VP. What better situation to show how ready she is than now?

McCain could bow out of the race for a short time to rush back to DC and chime in on the bailout, and leave the campaign in Palin's hands. However, rather than turning the campaign over to Palin, he SUSPENDS the campaign.

The underlying message is he doesn't have the confidence in Palin that she is capable of picking up the ball and running with it.

If she can't handle media questions (except in scripted/controlled settings) and if she can't handle taking over for McCain in a campaign - is she really ready to be VP?

If Palin was a huge mistake... and she IS... why on Earth are we not exploiting it?

5. Barracuda is so NOT ready for prime time. She also has that Bush-like mule-headedness.

Which is (as witnessed during the past 8 years) far from adequate for service in the executive branch; in fact, it is a serious detriment.

I've really had it -- to the breaking point -- with the neocon-puppets' worldwide chaos-machine. And I can feel the blood-pressure setting off bells in my noggin, and I'm also sick of the hyper-phony Christian-ism.

Bottom line: Do NOT understimate Palin. She will not simply wander off into some long days' journey into night. She was once a Miss Congeniality in one of her competitions, and that proved to be her gateway drug to her deeper involvement into public office. I find her whole act thoroughly cynical and repugnant, but there are going to be some yahoos out there who will buy off on her, if only because she claims to be a "Bible-believing Christian." Worse yet, and Google around a bit to check this out -- some hard-line Christians believe that she has been annointed by God to serve in a high office at this particular juncture.
