"I'm a fool, and I approve of this mess."
When stuff goes wrong, people get fired, people resign, people get urged to resign.

How many disasters has the Bush Administration presided over and nobody resigned or was fired in the aftermath of it all?

When it turned out there were no WMDs in Iraq?
Nobody.

When Valerie Plame was outed?
Nobody.

The current economic crisis?
Who? Nobody, that's who.

If nobody resigns when stuff goes sour, then what does that mean? Does it mean "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!"?

Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

1. Bill Maher's joke is he's the only one who's been fired for Bush's mistakes.
None of this is happenstance. It was all planned and carried out as planned. The Boogeyman got us.
