...to make rich men poor it comes down to this: the rich would rather eat their grandchildren than lose their wealth. A simple test would prove it: place their grandchildren in front of 25-ton steamroller and the pile of their cash in front of the world's largest flamethrower; both devices are remote controlled and only one can be turned off before the kids are squished or the money is burned; tell the wealthy thieves they have five seconds to make a decision; then yell Go! and watch them choose.

2. Wealth is much, much more than paper money. Wealth is connections

and the knowledge that you can play on your fellow man's heartstrings. Such a person would hold up the child and cry and weep about the decision he had to make, and lo and behold, within 3 years he would double his original wealth. This would not be a crisis, this would be an unparalleled opportunity.
