Just out of curiosity...When is the last time a Democratic

administration left town with a 700 billion+ problem (I read yesterday someone said it will likely be more to the tune of 1.8 Trillion)? I thought we Dems were all tax and spend liberals (snark). Can you imagine how many human problems could have been solved if we were ever given the opportunity to spend 1.8 Trillion dollars with no oversight?
On Edit: My point is that, while I am not an economist, that figure is staggering, and would probably pay for every possible type of program imaginable for years. Instead it is being used to clean up yet another republican mess, and we will be told there isn't enough money for anything else.

...which doesn't include the deficit Bush** spent us into before he started bailing out banks, or how much him tanking the economy will cost us in the future.

from calling Democrats tax spend liberals. The McCain organization has one running now that essentially does that.

I saw the ad last night and thought how big of them, they create a mess bigger than their good buddy Herbie Hoover and still have the guts to claim the Democrats will raise your taxes and spend billions of dollars on social programs.
