THANK YOU!!!!

I don't want to take credit because someone here posted a link to www.freecycle.org and I joined my local group. I just got rid of about 10 things that were sitting here waiting for someone to do something about them. I have MUCH more to go when it comes to giving things away (there is some stuff I'll sell -- can't afford to be crazy here).

I wanted to post again because it's such a great resource and I'd never heard of them before. Your link was buried in a post so I wanted to highlight it. But thanks to whomever that was!!! I sent it out to a bunch of people I know who both need to get rid of things and need basic stuff (e.g., baby clothes) they can't afford right now.

1. It wasn't me, but I've belonged to my local Freecycle for a few years.
I've given away quite a few things and received several things too! I don't know who came up with the idea, but it's GREAT!

2. I love the Freecycle Yahoo group I belong to here in Milwaukee...
It's much more active than the one I was in in North Texas. Have already gotten rid of stuff to some really deserving folks. Hoping to divest myself of more!

Check out the Frugal and Energy Efficient Living group too...some great ideas there...

3. It wasn't me but I just love freecyle - I have given
away old children's toys, sheet rock, an extra door, lumber, furniture.

I have met some wonderful and nice people in the process.

And best of all, nothing is going into a landfill.
