so Congress is debating this clusterf*ck bailout bill - but my Senators aren't taking calls?

This is a massively important bill that they are pushing through and they aren't allowing constituents voices to be heard first?!?!

Paulson wants to have complete freedom from ANY oversight and ANY accountability! And CONGRESS is likely to let that happen. This does NOT NEED to be forced through WITHOUT time for careful THOUGHT, deliberation and consideration.

And especially it should NOT be passed into law without allowing WE, THE PEOPLE to contact our representatives and give our opinion and input.

3. Civil servants

Any politician who can stand up in front of taxpayers and say "I´m surprised or shocked about this development" should immediately clean out their desk and leave the building, and kiss their civil servant paycheck goodbye.
