Is anybody getting fired over this mess?
The government is obligating US to huge bailouts of companies that have clearly been MISMANAGED!

So, you hear about any management changes, anybody getting fired over this disaster?

By bailing them out but leaving management in place, BushCo just assures it will happen all over again.

1. Well I can say that an organization I know of cut off all their employee's corp cards
without warning while they were traveling on business.

Leaving people stranded and having to pay their own way home, rental cars, hotels, etc.

Who knows what they are going to do for the people who need to travel next week.

3. Cut to the chase, why doncha?
My DH's first words were the same: who's going to pay for this? No one, apparently, at least not yet.

5. Let's see who becomes Attorney General
That will say a lot. Also U.S. Attorney for New York, Southern District. That would be quite a job
if you wanted to make history with very bad guys.

Good to see you:hi:

Naw, nobody's getting fired, and no one's going to jail.

They are all getting a big bonus and a job in the McCain administration...

6. Well, sort of, in an ironic sort of way

Right, they'll keep rigging the polls then steal the election after they've established it's going
to be "close." They there will be jobs for those people. But they should get their corporate salaries
instead of that government pay. It's only fair;)

8. Any crisis since bush took over, the bush clan has used to take away our
rights/freedoms, we better be watching what they will take away from us in this crisis. Seems like we are allowing them/begging them "the CROOKS" to fix the problem that they created.

Instead of putting the three crooks in jail that just robbed your house, you ask the three crooks for their advice on how you can make sure that the three of them aren't able to rob your house again.

LOL, I hope you get my drift. This is all laughable and we keep letting it happen to us time and time again.

10. Yes...watching it...but since some knew it was coming...it's sort of
like "done deal?" The "Stock Market Watchers" site here on DU in "LBN" has kept most of us who read there up to date and Robert Reich, Bill Gross (PIMCO) and many others have been warning us about this crash from excess and deregulation for years now.

Bad stuff. Maybe it's better it all Imploded Now rather than after the election, though. Time for Obama to really make his points about what Repugs and DeReg since Reagan have done to us..along with "Trickle Down" Friedmanomics.....:-(

The Securities and Exchange Commission. That would be Christopher Cox I believe.

by the federal government means that the executives forfeit any bonuses, pay, and "golden parachutes".

They shouldn't be rewarded with money and stock for running the company into the ground and then leaving the taxpayers of America to pick up the check.

17. Yeah: you and me.
This mess is going to 'trickle down' to the real economy and start hurting actual businesses that make shit and provide real services and then you and I and the rest of working families here and around the world are going to get fired over this mess. Then again in righwingtardneolibertarian world, that is only fair as we caused this mess by forcing wallstreet to consolidate and interlock the mortgage industry with the rest of their crooked financial systems and issue trillions of dollars in risky loans to us. We are bad and we deserve to be punished.

They have hurt the USA economically WORSE THAN THE 19 HIJACKERS ON SEPTEMBER. War on terror, how about a WAR ON FINANCIAL BARONS who created this crisis.

23. We're just collateral damage to them
In some states, it's so bad the laws are being changed to allow people to eat road kill.

That's us, in the view of the crooks who ruined their company and the economy and still
get their generous compensation.

How could they be this stupid or was it intentional?
