Question about public transportation
Is 40 million dollars a month enough to run a train system in a medium sized city?

It just occured to me that if everyone paid 40 bucks a month in a city with a population of 1 million people that would equal... 40 million. That seems like more than enough for a train system. Does anyone here know more about it?
