On the Road: Great encounters...
I was driving out to lunch today, and in front of me was a sports car with an old Hillary sticker.

But the Hillary had been crossed out, by hand, and below was pasted "Obama for President."

So there's a Hillary supporter who has come on board...

I pulled alongside her at a red light and we chatted for a moment...

Very satisfactory conversation!

When the light turned, I pulled ahead, and she saw my bumper stickers...

She proceeded to zoom around me and waved the V for victory sign!

It's a good day in California!

1. Awesome Peggy!!
Meanwhile here in red state hell, a man in a black SUV tried to run me off the road last month. So I went home and put even more bumper stickers on my car. :)

7. Good for you!
I have most of them on magnets now and can switch them around. I don't have room to have them all on at the same time.

I do have an Obama sticker and an antiwar sticker I never take off.

The day the ass tried to run me off the road I had these on:

THEY IMPEACHED FOR MONICA, WHY NOT KATRINA?

WHEN BUSH TOOK OFFICE GAS WAS $1.46

3. Ya gotta love it, out here.
So far, I have seen exactly one McCain sticker in Tiburon.

And, unfortunately, it was on the vehicle of this woman who I have admired for two years and had finally decided to ask to dinner.

Oh, well.....

5. My dear TomInTib...
Ah yes, I am loving it!

I've seen a couple of McCain bumper stickers, and one McCain yard sign...

His supporters do exist here, but in small numbers...

I'm sorry about your neighbor...

6. Oops... I live in Marin and have yet to see a McPain sticker...
though a few weeks ago, I had the nauseating misfortune of being behind a black pickup with a sticker reading BUSH/CHENEY 2004. I almost threw up.

11. You do realize that the vast majority of Clinton supporters are "on board", right?

13. Then why did you phrase it as "So there's a Hillary supporter who has come on board..."
as though it's some surprise?

22. It implies that Clinton supporters were NOT "on board" at some point.
I find that ridiculous, divisive and perpetuating a GOP myth.

17. Yikes, that's awful!
I haven't seen anything quite that blatant...

Maybe further inland I would, though...

18. I live in a town of 100,000 in Santa Barbara county-
I haven't seen one McCain sticker or yard sign. The last election it was
about 50/50 Bush and Kerry. I do see some Obama stickers on cars
but not one McCain sticker.
