Dana will oppositely announce that it is opposite day by not announcing it. So when she tells us all how swimmingly the economy is doing, get out the life preservers because it means we're drowning.

This morning on Today, they were talking about all the Treasury money flooding into the markets, and mentioned very casually that it totals $900 billion. Ah well, {shrug}, just $900 billion. Hello? How about nearly a trillion? Or to put it in other terms, about half of what the Iraq war has cost us. And all brought to us by the same people: The Republican Party.
