3. Normally, I'd just call 'em crazy. But since they run the government now,
I call them also dangerous.

4. Yes, the prospect of Palin as President is frightening to me
And yes, people who want to hasten the end of the world are generally a little nuts- and that includes people here who eagerly post their end time stuff. Granted, secular dystopians aren't an organized group and thus don't present any danger.

5. Both
It's crazy & dangerous.

I'm a believer, but I certainly never bought into that 19th Cen fad known as The Rapture.

But people who believe that crap will invariably make it happen if we don't try to stop them.

much in their Churches (if that is what you want to call them) but now these people like Palin, have found that if you can become immersed into politics, positions of power where you can change things, the government itself, how much you can influence this kind of thinking.

13. I'm sure countries such as Russia certainly consider them crazy and dangerous.
Can you imagine if Sarah Palin becomes VP how Russia will react after hearing all about her position as the "first line of defense" against Russia as well as Alaska being a refuge state in the end times???
Talk about grounds for rebuilding a nuclear arsenal.

Many Americans are so accustomed to nutty religious rhetoric that at this point, they see the Armageddon and anti-christ talk as just stupid.
My Russian, Spanish and French friends who have been keeping up with this election are scared shitless by the Palin church videos that are being shown on the their news channels. My Russian friends are also freaked out about this Alaska vs. Russia talk that seems to have appeared out of nowhere. Its irresponsible for a half-wit govornor to be saying such potentially incendiary things, especially as our relationship with Russia is getting more and more strained.

14. I think they are
It is certainly possible to be a Christian without taking the book of Revelations in an overly serious and literal way. There are plenty of people who do.

15. Delusional and dangerous.
For too long, religious zealots have been given a free pass. I have no objection to them making up whatever crazy stuff that makes the feel good. But, when they start taking over Governments, that's another matter.

23. Both.
When they were a menace only to themselves, I was quite happy to ignore them. That changed when they started endangering the entire world.
It's my world too and I'm using it right now, thank you very much.

24. Crazy AND Dangerous
esp. if they have access to "the button". It would be nice if there was some other planet they could go to and wait for their much anticipated and over hyped "Armageddon". Or better yet, it would be great if we could put all of the Xtian fundies and Islamofascists on their own planet and let them go at each other and destroy themselves and leave the rest of us who actually care about having a decent peaceful life and a nice place to live ALONE!
