1. Fucking scary
Eventually it will come out and I won't be surprised if it's revolting.

2. If I had to guess based on the interview
I'd say it is a sort of advanced black ops surveillance system that can essential tap into an entire nation's technological grid and be able to sort through all of the data. Remember that Iraq didn't use to be a 3rd world country, and in fact was one of the most civilized and advanced countries in the Middle East (this is important because they had the infrastructure for telecommunications). Since Woodward said that "80-90% of actionable intelligence was gained through these methods", it would seem to me that the new technology has to be NSA and CIA related.

5. Holy crap
"they are lethal and effective"
"85 to 90 per cent of the actionable intelligence comes from these techniques and operations"

6. Black Screen
I don't get anything. What is it? All I get is a blank black screen when it is done loading.

8. It's a new weapon or weapons system we have (or are getting). Give it another
try -- and on the left hand side of the page you can see a little box with the visual and it'll say "Manhattan Project" Try clicking on that and accessing it from there - hope it works!

10. Sounds like
some extremely advanced satelite survey system that has the ability to tap into communications of other countries on a level of sophistication unimaginable at this point. It sounded as if he was speaking about two components that allow reception of information, and then provide supression of violence based on the collected information which leads me to believe they are utilizing some sort of lethal chemicals that are virtually or completely untraceable. Intriguing and unsettling at the same time.

7. He calls it lethal and effective.
I don't think anything the military industrial complex can design can be both.

Plus, Woodward is making himself out to be a fearmonger.

9. This is why I don't like Bob Woodward...
...unveiling the truth isn't as crucial to him as cementing his reputation as someone with access to info. "Hey, look at me. I know something you don't because I'm important."

Why dangle the carrot? Are you a reporter or not?

13. Interesting. Thanks for the links. Do you remember some kind
of sound wave or shock wave that was used very recently on some protesters? I think they were at a military base or something. It was posted here not too long ago. I'm wondering if it's the same thing.
