McCain's convention bounce a fiction

McCain out polling Obama? http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080907/pl_politico/13228

I think not.

My thoughts are that "democracy" in the USA is rigged by the media so as to make it look there is a real election coming up. But there won't be one. Take a state like Ohio in 2004 of Florida in 2000 & 2004. Flip a few votes and get the GOP candidate "elected"...

So in order for the November 4th election to look "official" the media has to start making McCain look ahead in the polls right now.

In 1992 Clinton was able to circummvent much (not all) of the cheating because of the three way split of Perot, Bush, Clinton.

And in 1996 Dole was so unpopular that it was impossible for the corporate media and GOP thugs to cook the books THAt much. So they decided to roast Clinton AFTER he was re-elected.

But please vote anyway. Vote for the Democrats. I sure will.

But unless we turn out in a HUGE majority expect the repugs to rig this one too.

All the signs indicate that they will.

1. I just told my husband this is all a set up to try and steal it...
but I have faith they won't get away with it! I have to admit that I cried today when I saw that horrible commercial being run in Michigan. It's really sad that these people are so slimy and that slimy people buy into their bullshit.

2. We have had a congressional majority for the last two years.
If the dems had wanted to do something about election reform, they could have. Makes one believe they just might be complicit. Hate to say it, but the truth sometimes hurts. We have worked out butts off for election reform and have gotten no where; because the dems are not behind it. Accepting the truth sure as hell hurts, though.

5. That's kinda what I thought, too.
Now I'm trying to figure out the "why." Why is it to their benefit to not doing anything about election fraud?

6. complicity
It's the same reason they allow repukes to frame the debate.

They are living a very sweet life that the likes of us will never enjoy. As long as they keep up the pretense that the next election will make a difference, they can serve their corporate masters and pretend they are agents for change we so desperately need while working against the public whom they merely pretend to serve.

As long as the masses believe there is someone in their corner, they'll forgo the torches and pitchforks.
