"Being governor of Alaska for a year and half is like being mayor of <city X> for a year and a half. It's not adequate experience"

My family lived in Frankfurt...early one June morning we flew to Berlin and saw John F. Kennedy speak..there were more people there to hear him speak, than there are in all of Alaska!

Seriously, there are only a handful of cities whose population is over 500,000 in the US.
