The City Beautiful

Whoever designed Obama's set was just paying homage to Denver and its characteristic architecture.

(I especially like this one, even though the view is obscured by ahem clouds of smoke

1. That new art museum annex looks like one of the great pyramids
from that angle.

The Egyptians behind the Greeks. Wonder if that was intentional.

Thanks for the memories, I spent a good part of my life in Denver. Used to go to the library downtown when it was a concrete bunker. Haven't seen the museum addition yet.

Is that the Libeskind addition poking up all-pyramid like behind it?
